When the United Kingdom went into ‘lockdown’, as the last music gigs were cancelled around the place, Lockdown Folk was started. Hosted by Jeremy Harmer, who is based in Cambridge UK, performers – on instruments ranging from guitar (of course!) fiddle, harp. accordion, whistle Bodhran, concertina, Dulcimer, Northumbrian pipes, all sorts of percussion and lots more (and a real bird!) – sing and play their hearts out in a magical atmosphere of mutual appreciation and support.

Lockdown folk takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm to whenever it finishes – often around 11.30 if people haven’t fallen asleep!
