Collected in 1907 in the village of Hooton near Rotherham in Yorkshire, Spencer the Rover is beloved of many folk musicians and made especially famous by the great John Martyn many years ago. Because of lockdown restrictions at the time this version had to be a (multi-) one-person affair!
